More than 1,000 young scientists, from more than 41 states and 56 countries, met in Houston to participate in I-SWEEEP 2009. I-SWEEEP, an international science project Olympiad, is open to middle and high school students.
Students displayed their projects in three main categories; Energy, Engineering, and Environment and competed for scholarship opportunities and prizes.
From our school, Taariq Chasmawala was awarded with ISWEEEP Best Civil Engineering Project Award. Syed Kumail Hasan won University of Texas at San Antonio Scholarship. Christina Rice was awarded with Bronze medal in Environment category. We congratulate all of our students for representing our school in this world-wide competition. Click here to see the pictures.
